Still Score at The Edge Chorlton, part music gig, part theatre, part love letter!

Still Score at The Edge Chorlton, part music gig, part theatre, part love letter!

In February 2013, Tom bought a slide projector and 500 slides from eBay. The slides were of people he did not know but he could not help asking, what is their story?

Inspired by these images, performer and composer Tom Adams performs a live soundtrack of music, comedy and stories in a fun and poignant exploration of mortality. He also searches through images of his own life, placing them side by side with the strangers, wondering if his memories will, one day, be just a slide sold on eBay.

Still Score is inspired by silent film accompanists in form as it places the image centre stage and allows the music and sound to wash over the audience, inviting them to enjoy the still image and make up their own story.

Still Score is suitable for ages 12+. Tickets £8/£10. Friday 7th November 7.30pm.

Funded by Arts Council England and Harrogate Theatre. Supported by Miracle Theatre and South Street Arts Centre, Reading.
