Mad Manc Cabaret - Fri 13 March at The Dancehouse, Manchester

Mad Manc Cabaret - Fri 13 March at The Dancehouse, Manchester

After February's fantastic Mad Manc Cabaret at the packed-out Dancehouse, there's another all-killer, no-filler line-up for March!

Mad Manc Cabaret brings you an eclectic mixture of some of the best music, spoken word, comedy, interviews ~ and pure attitude ~ in the heart of Manchester! It's a love thing.

Broadcaster, writer, TV presenter, Terry Christian is the curator and host for the night ~ he'll be introducing the following on stage:

MC Tunes - Moss Side's Nicky Lockett is back in full effect with Manchester's No 1 battalion - in conversation and performing a selection of old and new.

Denise Johnson - Vocalist with ACR ~ and formerly Primal Scream ~ Denise was simply AMAZING at the first Mad Manc Cabaret last October, so Terry just had to ask her back again.

The Space Monkeys - The last band that Tony Wilson signed to Factory Records (& managed) are now back on stage together for the first time in over 15 years!

Marvin Cheeseman - Half Philip Larkin, half Frankie Boyle. Marvin had everyone falling about laughing at the last two Mad Manc Cabaret's and he's sure to do the same in March.

Little Sparrow ~ A favourite on BBC Introducing; Terry's show on Imagine FM; Guy Garvey on 6 music; Ethereally wonderful ~ Manchester has taken Little Sparrow to its heart.

Thick Richard ~ The spite and gravitas of Manchester comedy poet ~ John Cooper Clarke meets Jerry Sadowitz (ouch)!

Kyla Brox ~ Daughter of Blues legend, Victor Brox. Nominated for 5 years as best vocalist in the European Blues Awards and regular on Paul Jones Blues Show on BBC Radio 2.

Mike Sweeney  - Salford Jets frontman - and broadcasting legend from the scenic sewers of Salford and proof that old punks never die - their trousers just get tighter!

The Travellers - Mad and bad Barber Shop Quartet from New Mills, they sing beautifully and may even build a Wicker man!

Mad Manc Cabaret will be filmed at The Dancehouse Theatre on Friday 13th March ~ highlights will be available online and on the Mad Manc Cabaret facebook page:

Tickets are £15 in advance for theatre seating, or book a table for 5-8 people, with a drinks waiter service throughout the show!  Doors open 7.30pm. Show starts 8.30pm Fri 13 March.
