Life of Ryan released November 24th

24th November 2014 sees the release of Life of Ryan on DVD & Blu-ray, a cinematic documentary celebrating Ryan Giggs’ illustrious career at Manchester United Football Club.


Life of Ryan combines video diary footage with archive film of the footballing legend’s career, along with a rare glimpse into Ryan’s other passions outside the beautiful game. 


Currently assistant manager at Manchester United, Ryan is celebrated as the most decorated player the Premier League has produced, accumulating 34 career trophies. He has made more appearances and won more honors than any other player in the clubs illustrious history. He is regarded as a true legend of the modern era.


Life of Ryan was produced by Rhodri Burgess of Wasserman and Fulwell 73 Productions, the independent film and television producers also behind acclaimed sporting documentary film The Class of ‘92, which details the rise to prominence of the infamous six Manchester United footballers who joined the team along with Ryan in the early 1990s, and whose careers have been in the global spotlight ever since. 


The film also features high profile interviews with his Class of ‘92 teammates David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Phil Neville, Gary Neville and Nicky Butt, plus sporting icons Rio Ferdinand, Diego Maradona, Rory Mcilroy, Bryan Habana and former manager Sir Alex Ferguson, along with current Manchester United players including Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick.


In July 2014 ITV aired a 45-minute TV special also produced by Rhodri Burgess and Fulwell 73 Productions, Life of Ryan: Caretaker Manager, detailing Ryan’s move into management for the 2013/2014 Premiership season, and some of this footage is used in the new film.


Life of Ryan is a brand new film cut for DVD release, which documents the entire length of Ryan’s career, following his progression from footballing prodigy to assistant manager of one of the biggest teams in the world.


Out on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download 24th November.
