We are excited to appoint a global leader in the beverage industry such as CCA as our partner, to further develop the Rekorderlig brand. The new venture gives tremendous scope to grow Rekorderlig’s sales operations. Kieron Barton Chilli Marketing

Rekorderlig will be the first cider brand to be included in Coca Cola Amatil’s beverage portfolio. The beverage giant aims to vastly increase Rekorderlig’s footprint in the market with an intense nationwide sales distribution drive.

“Although we are poles apart in size there are fantastic synergies; they share our ambitions for Rekorderlig and despite their size, they maintain an entrepreneurial nimbleness enabling them to move quickly which is massively attractive to us.  This, coupled with a terrific sales force and incredible distribution, will allow us to drive the brand forwards” Barton added.

Established in 1999, Rekorderlig Cider is made with the purest spring water from Europe’s most accredited source in Vimmerby, Sweden, where it is still made today by a fourth generation brewery.

Chilli Marketing will remain responsible for all marketing.

Chilli was founded by Gareth Whittle, Kieron Barton & Christian Barton. Having drunk Cusqueña lager in Peru they quit their jobs, raided credit cards and set up a business to bring it to the UK! Eight years later Chilli now employs over 35 people and operates globally and has picked up several awards.
