The Johann Strauss Gala has entertained audiences for over 40 years with its captivating combination of much-loved music, delightful dancing and a dash of comedy. Presented by the irrepressible showman Rainer Hersch, The Johann Strauss Orchestra and Dancers return with a brand new show for 2016.

Rainer will be conducting the Johann Strauss Orchestra’s classic interpretations of Strauss masterpieces such as ‘Emperor Waltz’, ‘Radetsky March’, ‘Bandits’ Galopp’, ‘Carmen Quadrille’, ‘Polka Furioso’ and the ‘Blue Danube Waltz’. Soprano Samantha Hay will be performing a sparkling selection of revered songs from the era, including ‘Doll Aria’ from Tales of Hoffman. Completing the cast, the highly acclaimed Johann Strauss Dancers, in glorious costumes of the period, capture the experience of the occasion, dancing to some of the most romantic waltzes and liveliest polkas ever composed. A delectable fusion of music, dance and song, the show has been captivating audiences over four decades in what has to be the ultimate Viennese party.
