Lewis Watson announces headline live dates for May 2016

Lewis Watson has announced three very special headline dates for May 2016, where he will perform at King Tuts Glasgow on Monday 2nd May, The Deaf Institute Manchester on Tuesday 3rd May and London’s Bush Hall on Wednesday 4th May.

Lewis Watson is a familiar name. Following on from several EPs that topped iTunes charts around the world, a Top 30 debut album, and sold out touring across UK, Europe, Australia and North America; where he headlined shows at London's Shepherds Bush Empire, New York's Bowery Ballroom and LA's infamous Troubadour; Lewis is back with a brand new track ‘Maybe We’re Home’, from his upcoming second album.

After the release of his debut album “the morning”, Lewis began to write songs that demonstrated real depth and a maturity in their direction, far above his 23 years.

Taking his live band into a residential studio, along with producer Anthony West, they spent a month crafting a record that takes in influences such as Death Cab For Cutie, Coldplay, and Ben Howard, whilst still retaining Lewis' individuality and a voice that has grown in stature.

Lewis kicked off this year on tour with his friend Gabrielle Aplin and is now currently supporting Oh Wonder on their European tour. Set to play a string of headline dates in May, Lewis and his live band will be performing new material from his upcoming album and will be returning to London after his huge show at Shepherds Bush Empire back in 2014. Tickets go on sale from 9am Wednesday 2nd March and will be available at www.gigsandtours.com
