Microsoft Mobile Devices and La Blogothèque announce the lineup for the 5th and final installment of the 2014 Lumia Live Sessions (LLS). Soul sensation, Kwabs, will headline the 1st September event with, Sinead Harnett, supporting. In keeping with the ethos of LLS, which brings emerging artists to unusual locations, giving fans unique live music experiences, 2014’s final LLS will take place in Manchester’s Chadderton Baths.

Despite being at relatively early stages in his solo career, Kwabs is already gathering support and interest from fans and other artists alike including: Jessie Ware, India Arie, Joss Stone and Plan B – who Kwabs supported on tour in summer 2012.

His artistic evolution has paid off during the summer of 2014, which Kwabs has spent putting the final touches to his debut album, due out early 2015.

Christophe Abric of La Blogothèque said:

In 2014, it doesn't matter if you like R'n'B, electro music, rap or soul; the Internet freed everyone from genres. Kwabs is one of these artists for whom music is a big field of experiment. He isn't a rapper, a soul man, or an r'n'b singer - he is all of them at the same time, floating from one genre to another with his deep soulful voice and his incredible sense of rhythm. He will, without question, easily bring us into his world for our first Manchester Lumia Live Session.

North London born and bred songstress, Sinead Harnett, grew up on a diet of Classic Soul, 90s RnB and UK Garage; genres that have unquestionably influenced her modern soul sound. Having collaborations with Disclosure, Rudimental & Ryan Hemsworth already under her belt; Harnett - currently working on her debut album, is one to watch. (Her debut EP 'N.O.W' releases Aug 2014)

The art deco Chadderton Baths is one of several important civic buildings in the borough of Oldham, Manchester. Opening in 1937, the baths were famously the home of four-time Olympic swimming champion, Henry Taylor; in 2006, following the discovery of cracks in the roof, they were closed to the public. September’s Lumia Live Session will be the first event in the historic venue for over eight years.

The fifth LLS of 2014 follows Brit Award winning singer, Ella Eyre, who wowed fans in a fairground museum in Devon, and electro soul three piece, Years & Years, beneath the streets of London in the abandoned Aldwych underground station, Jagwar-Ma in a Bristol court and Little Green Cars in a gothic chapel in Dublin.
