In celebration of the opening and to emphasise the family friendly credentials of the venue, Cosy Club has chosen to support local charity Forever Manchester. Cosy Club will donate 50p from every burger and 10p from every coffee sold in month one of trading to the charity. Nick Massey, chief executive, Forever Manchester says: “We’re delighted Cosy Club has chosen to support Forever Manchester as part of their opening celebrations. Patrons can enjoy great food and coffee safe in the knowledge they’re doing good at the same time!”
Situated on the first floor of the Corn Exchange, Cosy Club Manchester boasts huge windows wrapping around one side of the venue giving diners a bird’s eye view of the hustle and bustle below – perfect for people watching. At its heart is the bar area with a dramatic domed ceiling facing out onto the impressive internal atrium.
Mix matched tables and dining chairs, battered old cocktail armchairs, sleek 1930’s sofas and mid-century sideboards make you feel immediately at home. The walls are adorned with enormous rousing Soviet-era masterpieces, family portraits, flags, banners and iconic 50’s artwork peppered with the odd piece of taxidermy thrown in for good measure! Vast chandeliers hang dramatically next to industrial steel lamps and chintzy shades throwing light that is soft, sumptuous and elegant.
