WANNA PIZZA THIS?  On Wednesday 25^th May PLY will be hosting a brand new pizza eating competition, where contestants will battle it out to win a £100 bar tab.

After a year of firing up the disco oven and observing pizzas being devoured a blink of eye, PLY is putting entrants to the test to find the fastest feaster in the Northern Quarter!

This challenge will test nine contestants in four rounds at the Stevenson Square hangout. Rounds 1,2 and 3 will involve three entrants who will battle it out to scoff a sourdough margarita.

The quickest to nibble the Neapolitan to completion will be invited to the final round and will race to devour five scoops of gelato, despite the risk of pain in the brain! The winner of the final round will win £100 bar tab to spend at PLY.  

It's all just a bit of fun – and a win, win situation for everyone involved, free pizza and a shot at a £100 bar tab!

PLY is no stranger to speedy competitions and has previously hosted an art contest in conjunction with local art and design stockists Fred Aldous to launch its new cocktail menu. Entrants were tasked to scribble their interpretations of the cocktails against the clock, and winners were treated to a bar tab amongst other gifts from Fred Aldous.

Beki Rymsza, marketing manager at PLY, says: "It's all just a bit of fun – and a win, win situation for everyone involved, free pizza and a shot at a £100 bar tab! We've been hearing about all kinds of different tactics for these contests, will be interesting to see which one works the best!".

Entrance to the competition is free however, it is limited to nine places so book quickly if you want to get involved.
