This Saturday 14th February, from 6pm-9pm, Kosmonaut will be hosting a pop-up True Romance film club, for Valentines who prefer their flirtations to be thrillers rather than RomComs.
The special screening takes place in the basement bar where Kosmonaut will be spreading the romance with individual pizzas with “a lot of heart, kid!” and bespoke cocktails for those couples, friends, and lonely hearts looking to escape the romantic ick of February 14th.
Upon arrival, raise a glass to Alabama Whitman with Kosmonaut’s own Alabama Snapple, a rich blend of gin, elderflower and strawberry which, like Alabama herself, is both seriously sweet and deeply intense in equal measures. Before the screening starts, cynics and lovers will be treated to an individual heart shaped pizza with the choice between N’Duja Sausage or Mozarella.
Channel your inner Clarence Worley, with a little less obsessive love and violent crime, and pass notes at the back on your very own “you’re so cool” napkins as you sit back and relax with your friends or lovers in front of Tarantino’s classic blood-drenched lovers-on-the-run film.
Tickets are priced at £10, which includes the film screening, an Alabama Snapple and an individual heart shaped pizza. You might even run into Elvis in the toilet.
Tickets can be bought behind the bar in Kosmonaut and the event will run from 6pm until 9pm in the Basement.
