Simply Be to support ‘The Empty Shop’ collaboration

The Empty Shop, with the support of the Manchester Arndale Centre, has been launched by the homeless charity Mustard Tree presenting a unique way of collecting clothing donations -‐ the idea being that members of the public 'bring clothes to the shop instead of taking them from the shop'. The much needed donations will both raise awareness to the plight of homeless people in Manchester and raise much needed funds for the charity.

"Simply Be is proud to support Mustard Tree to help raise awareness of homelessness in Manchester by providing clothing for The Empty Shop. The Simply Be team has put together a great selection of products for this exceptional cause.” says Charlotte Bleasdale, PR Manager at Simply Be.

The Empty Shop is located opposite Next and Starbucks within Manchester Arndale until 2nd February 2014. The project first launched in Brazil, where it was one of five initiatives voted for the Future of Communications Award.
