Large scale walk-through horror attraction announced for Manchester City Centre

Dare you enter the most immersive, terrifying and utterly unique horror experience the UK has to offer? Do you have what it takes to survive the HOUSE OF THE DEAD with your sanity intact? Here is your chance to find out as Manchester’s Number 1 scare attraction is on its way for the Halloween period and tickets go on sale at 12pm today!

Cooked up by the evil minds involved in some of the UK’s most successful horror attractions, House of the Dead Ltd announce that Hell Has A Home and Manchester’s Great Northern Warehouse will be the daunting location for its first horror event. Packed with your worst nightmares, HOUSE OF THE DEAD will take you on a terrifying walk-through journey in an unreal world made up of phenomenal, ‘horror movie quality’ sets, routes of terror and most importantly, the most horrific monsters Manchester has ever seen.

Last week House of the Dead Ltd announced its first Manchester venture Trapped Up North, a 4D escape experience. The horror themed company led by Richard Cottier, Sally Duguid and Paul Jamieson, are excited to be revealing details of this new seasonal flagship event

House of the Dead will be the only scare attraction of its kind in the UK. Measuring 6,200sq feet and stretching over two floors, it will take 40 minutes to walk through – if the willing ‘victims’ make it that far.

Paul Jamieson, Architect of Mayhem and Chief Artistic Designer at House of the Dead Ltd, has been designing this event in meticulous detail for the past six months. House of the Dead will take an army of craftsmen two months to build ahead of opening its doors on 3 October.

Winding your way through the warehouse’s twisting corridors you will encounter creatures that have never before seen the light of day, you will walk routes of nightmares too dark to be dreamed and face the most horrific sights ever to be unleashed on the unsuspecting city of Manchester.

The undead arrive in Manchester on 3 October for two nights of special previews before HOUSE OF THE DEAD opens its doors for the rest of the Halloween season from 9 October.

Are you scared yet? Do you think that you’re ready to enter the House?
