Manchester Art Gallery Zine Fair & launch event - Thursday 31st January 5pm - 8.45pm

As part of its popular 'Thursday Lates' programme when the Gallery is open through the evening, Manchester Art Gallery is hosting a zine fair on Thursday January 31st.

From 5pm over thirty stalls will be set up around the ground floor of the Gallery and contemporary self-published magazines and fanzines, small press books, comics, hand-made prints, poetry, and limited run vinyl records will be on sale.

There's a thriving scene of self-published young designers and writers in this region and this is a perfect opportunity to view and buy their work...

Thursday 31st January will be an extra busy evening at the Gallery as Dave Haslam will help launch a new publication as an accompaniment and response to themes arising from the current 'Dreams Without Frontiers' (in the Manchester Gallery); speeches & readings at 6.45pm.

Admission to the Gallery is free that evening, the cafe bar and all the Gallery spaces are open and there’s no need to register, just turn up and enjoy the events.
