"The Thompson Arms, or as it is more commonly known as just 'Thompsons' is one of the best venues in the gay village and it is a must visit on any night. I have nothing but praise for this place" said Josh
"The drinks are great value, you can get a double for £2.50, the staff are friendly and the music they play is amazing. They play album tracks that normal venues don't play and DJ Paul will always try to fulfill your requests, for me personally he always plays Celine Dion tracks and a mega-mix of all her hits.

Thompsons' atmosphere is best described as very friendly, I particulaly like the fact find that the staff recognise and acknowledge me and my friends as we go on a fairly regular basis, they always manage to make our party feel very welcome indeed.
Finally and worthy of note are the door staff - Will & Anna, it's fair to say that a lot of venues can feel a little intimidating when you enter but not at Thompsons, they're fantastic!
