Quentin Reynolds at Lass O'Gowrie
WHAT better to get you in the Halloween mood than a Psychic Game Show in Manchester's most haunted pub? It's the most interactive show of the Manchester Comedy Festival
Manchester Comedy Festival
Mentalist magician Quentin Reynolds, a semi finalist on Britain's Got Talent, is bringing two shows to the Lass O'Gowrie for a two-week run from October 17.
The author of "Intuition, Your Secret Power" uses psychology, body language and intuition to read people's minds during The Psychic Game Show.
He will reveal hidden thought, create stunning
coincidences and leave audiences gobsmacked.
If you love intuition or act on hunches to make everyday decisions you will love this. Its the most interactive show of the Manchester Comedy Festival - and you may just win a prize.
His late night Bizarre show takes it one step further exploring the psychic, the paranormal and the weird.
Its not comedy as you know it and it may just induce nightmares as he tries to communicate with the spirits that haunt the Lass, including the heartbroken girl, discovered by Manchester Paranormal Society.
Quentin himself has a table made from wood, taken from a haunted house dating back to the English Civil War. He got it from a friend of his, Danny Lynch, who lives in Bolton and uses the table to tell the story of what happened to Harry Houdini.
Houdini made a pact with his wife that whoever died first the other one would try and get in touch on the 10th anniversary of that death. |
He died first and on the tenth anniversary his wife held a seance on the roof of the Knickerbocker Hotel in Hollywood. Quentin will look at what happened at the Houdini Seance and recreate the Victorian tilting table tea party sensation.
Psychic Game Show at 9.30pm October 17-21 and at 8pm October 24-28.
Bizarre is at 11pm each weekday night Oct 17-28.

Went down to the Lass
Went down to the Lass tonight to watch Quentin.. Had a really entertaining time in a traditional pub with lots of atmosphere that takes me back to the good old days of a real pint of beer!... with the old wiff of toilet block!
