SSR Manchester Open Day
Our January Open Day will be a perfect opportunity to visit SSR and find out more about our award winning courses and training. Visitors can take a full tour around our studios.
Saturday 28th January – 11am > 3pm
Featuring official AVID ‘Introduction to Pro Tools 10’
We will be taking visitors on a tour around our full compliment of studios and facilities which will feature demonstrations and workshops with our industry active tutors.
All our 'industry' and 'academic' courses will be featured at the event, with specific demos in Music Production, Audio Engineering, Live Sound, Radio Production and Post Production, along with presentations on SSR as a whole.
On the Open Day you will:
• See our studios and facilities including our Spirit studio
• Experience equipment demonstrations and workshops
• Meet our tutors and existing SSR students
• Find out about all the different courses we offer
• Get expert advice from our senior team on which course would be best for you
• Meet our student support team who can advise you on finance and accommodation
• Take advantage of special Open Day course offers
• Find out what being an SSR student means

Official AVID 'Introduction to Pro Tools 10' Workshop
We are delighted to announce that the Open Day will also feature an official AVID 'Introduction to Pro Tools 10' workshop, highlighting the all new features and updates of the new version of this industry standard software. While not part of the general admission open day tours, anyone is welcome to attend the additional Pro Tools session
Do I need to book?
There is no need to book a place for the SSR Open Day, just turn up on the day between 11am and 3pm.
