As we are experiencing one of the coldest and snowiest Decembers, myself like any other girl knows exactly how it feels to have to dress more ‘practical’...big woolly jumpers, boots that save you from embarrassing falls, scarves and gloves;  sometimes we just don’t feel that sexy.  However nothing makes you survive your day more than when you know secretly, you have a provocative lingerie set underneath all those vests and jumpers.

So for all the men out there who are worrying what to get their girlfriend for Christmas, I have listed below some of my favourite pieces which are sure to win you points in the bedroom!

There is nothing better than receiving a gorgeous lingerie ensemble and if you are on a budget check out La Senza, they have some fabulous sets.   Guys for something a little more special visit Lucile on Police street.  It has the feel of a Parisian boudoir but in the heart of Manchester.   The lingerie sets are classics and more up market, a favourite of mine is the ‘Lovebirds’ set by Tallulah Love.  If you want to splash out a little more, of course Agent Provocateur have some more risqué pieces like the Birthday suit set, red, silk and sensual...perfect for any special lady.

If you want to really spice things up in the bedroom then follow the recent trend of ‘bondage lingerie’.  Bondage lingerie has suddenly become a fashion front after recent performers such as Lady Gaga and Cheryl Cole have been seen in leather/diamante Basques and bras.  Luciles’ have an erotic set  by Aubade called ‘7 temptations gift box’ which features lace bra and panties, waspie suspender belt, lace cuffs and feather ring, perfect for a Christmas evening in!

Now I know a lot of ladies who actually get quite shy and reserved when their partner purchases lingerie for them, however ladies you need to remember that the best feeling about receiving new lingerie from your man is that it isn’t going to take that long to peel off!
