Whilst the rest of the music world sleeps, Sankeys is doing its very best to keep a pulse in the UK club scene, a lone bastion in a barren, bleak and silent wilderness split only by raucous beats emanating from Ancoats, drawing people from far and wide to the city.

The club’s second session of the New Year is a bit special. Bringing together three stars of electronica – Hot Creation’s Robert James, super-hot UK producer Glimpse and the sublime Larse - is all you need to know about how high the club sets its bar week in, week out.

Whilst others go into hibernation for a few weeks or more as a new year opens, Sankeys offers an orgy of beats so good on Saturday Jan 14th it’s pretty damn hard to resist... In fact, resistance is futile.
