Vintage Fashion Manchester

Manchester vintage fashion fans are to be offered a rare opportunity to buy from some of the hottest vintage traders this May Bank Holiday.

The event, which is being hosted by Triangle Shopping Centre and Vintage Threads, follows the success of the Spring fashion fair.

For one weekend, Triangle will be transformed into a vintage lover's paradise, pop-up shops boasting rare finds, classic cars and performances from local bands and vintage-themed dancing troupes.

Whether you’re after original Breton tops, denim and colourful courts a la Debbie Harry, Paul Weller’s sharp and clean cut threads or 60s-style furniture, you are sure to find something to add some retro styling to your home and wardrobe.

Vintage shopping has become a popular way of updating your look without resorting to the mass-produced high street designs.

The distinctive fashions of years gone by are replicated on the catwalks year-in, year-out and traditional homeware designs from the past few decades have become increasingly in vogue, following the rise of cupcake culture. From brogues, bags, brooches and braces to skirts, sofas, skinnies and scarves, the Triangle Vintage Fashion Fair will have something for everyone.

To coincide with the event, Triangle and Vintage Threads have released their guide to replicating the iconic styles from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
