Kid British burst on to the scene last year and have been heavily promoted as introducing us to a new style all together: they call that style Ska Indie. They got signed by Mercury Records and last year they launched their debut Album entitled It Was This or Football. Not bad going if we say so ourselves!
 So guys….your all from Manchester, did you all know each other from way back when? How did it all come about?
Yeah we've known each other quite a few years now. I met Adio, Simeon and James when they were in another group and I was producing them. And we joined forces from there.
Your obviously a tight unit but what’s happening on derby day? Is there hostile rivalry for 90 mins?

2009 was a big year you for guys…..what’s happening over the next 12 months for Kid British?
Moving another good step up again will be the target. Looking forward to getting more of our music out to the public and performing.
Which one of you gets the most attention of the females and why is that?
Lol. Hard to say.

So Manchester has another band but you guys are quite unique with your style… Had you always envisaged this type of style?
Not really. We make a fusion of the genres were into.
If you had to play in one city where would it be?
My homeland of Mancunia of course!
In terms of a Saturday night where do you guys hang out?
Northern Quarter

A lot of guys cut their teeth ‘darn sarf’ but you guys have elected to stay ‘oop north’ is that because music management is changing?
No not at all. Its where from and where feel most comfortable.
You got endorsed by The Specials….bet that was a big moment for you?
Yeah it was a bit of a shock to have such an iconic band take a great interest and respect for us . Especially Lynval who we class as an uncle.
