The Manchester music scene is always awash with talk of the next big thing but 9 times out of 10 that next big thing is usually 4 lads with guitars. The Manchester hip hop scene is often over looked by the press. Envy is a home grown rap star you should get to know now. She’s already shared the stage with hip hop heavyweights 50cent’s G –Unit and Kano, she opened the MOBO awards in 2006 and she’s about to release her debut album “Set Yourself on Fire” (22nd march 2010 stopstartrecords)
