TV Star Crissy Rock one of many celebrities sporting dentures, The 'I’m a Celebrity' star displayed her perfect dentures to the hit TV show’s millions of viewers.

Crissy, 53, revealed that she wore dentures as she
to jump out of the helicopter into the jungle.

The UK’s leading denturist Barrie Semp, who runs The Smile Centre, says Crissy is one of thousands of celebrities today who will be wearers of dentures.

Barrie, whose clients regularly fly in to see him from across Europe, said today’s handcrafted dentures are a world away from the old image of false teeth.

He said: “You would be amazed just how many of the household names on our TV and cinema screens wear dentures. You wouldn’t have realised Crissy Rock wore dentures until she took them out on national TV!

“Today’s dentures are not just about helping our TV, movie and pop stars look great on camera. Every day, they are helping millions of people rediscover their confidence at work, love life, even their sex drive. They can also mean simple pleasures such as being able to order anything they want off a menu rather than being embarrassed.”

Denturists such as Barrie harness the latest technology and denture manufacturing techniques to provide natural looking fitted dentures for people with multiple missing or total loss of teeth.

Technology used at The Smile Centre in Manchester includes a state-of-the-art 3D Ultrasonic Navigator which enables Barrie to create the perfect bite for patients, enabling them to eat with total confidence.

Barrie qualified as a Clinical Dental Technician in 2000 and sits on the board of the British Association of Clinical Dental Technology.
