AXM Canal Street Review

AXM is a great venue in the gay village that my friends and I frequent, it's the place I always end my night outs in...

AXM Canal Street | Manchester

lineIt has a great fun and friendly atmosphere with a diverse clientele of gay and straight , the only downside is a lot of the hot guys my friends and I fancy are always the straight guys!

Normally I go on a Saturday night after 4 am, they close at 7am Sunday morning which make's AXM one of the most popular venue's to go to with the late closing times, perfect for people waiting for lift's home or public transport and you don't have to pay for a pass out band if you want to nip out for air or a cigarette.

The music on a Saturday night is my favourite kind of music - cheesy pop!. It's so much fun dancing along to classic pop such as Britney , Steps , Spice Girls & Girls Aloud. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome and all look smart in the uniforms - White shirt and black trousers , very smart.

What I love about AXM is even though a lot of straight people are in there you can be yourself and act like yourself without worrying about the straight guys hurling abuse at you and you always feel safe in AXM.

I would advise you all to give AXM a go and you will love it as it doesn't try to be something it's not and it isn't pretentious. I love it!.

The AMX website has this to say 'During the last six years, AXM has built a huge reputation for being a quality, friendly, clean, fun and attitude free environment, so much so that we have won several top drawer awards including 'Best Bar None' two years running, 'Best Gay Venue in Manchester', 'Best Bar Northwest' and 3rd 'Best in the UK'.
